Annalisse Porter is a 17 year old high school student attending Azusa high school. She has a passion for crocheting. Besides having a job she also has a small crocheting business. She started crocheting at the age of 14! When asked why she loves crocheting she responded with “I like to crochet because it’s fun and it gives me something productive to do. I also like to make my own clothes and bags.” She has been crocheting for 3 years now. And has made many things but her most favorite piece she made was her homecoming dress. It took her 45 hours to make but it turned out beautiful. When asked why she decided to make her own dress instead of buying one she said “ I kinda of wanted to make a statement. Everybody’s going to wear these pretty long dresses. That they look like they got on Shein. I want to be original and just have fun with it.”
