After changing her major, Alex Carbajal, 19,   found the one that she really enjoyed – acting. Alex is a theater arts major meaning she wants to pursue a career in acting. In her freetime, Alex likes to play games, read, hang out with friends, and watch movies.

How would you describe your life growing up?

I think my life growing up wasn’t the easiest, but as a child I think I always knew what I wanted to do since I would love watching movies and shows. I took a liking to acting.

What is your favorite genre of shows or movies? And what is your favorite movie?

My favorite genre of movies or shows is romance and my favorite movie is Dead Poets Society.

What movie would be your dream to act in?

The Hunger Games series would be amazing to act in.”

Who do you think is your biggest inspiration? “I think Robin Williams and Timothee Chalamet. I’ve always loved their work and the way they are able to inspire others around them.
How do you stay motivated?By telling myself it’d be harder to accept the fact that I could quit and know that I wouldn’t succeed.It’d be better to try and at least know that I’ve tried to act, you know, I tried to pursue my goals.
