Paul Posluszny has surgery, is out until training camp

Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny has undergone shoulder surgery and is expected to be out until training camp, according to a report by Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union.

Posluszny, who was injured in the Jaguars season finale against the Indianapolis Colts, had the surgery to repair a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder. Recovery will keep him on the shelf all offseason, but he should be good to go when training camp opens.

Posluszny, who signed with the Jaguars as a free agent prior to the 2011 season, was an outstanding addition to the defense, finishing with 192 tackles, two sacks, and two interceptions.
